FAQs

If you have any questions about RENAISSANCE that can’t be answered below, get in touch by emailing hello@renaissancemovement.org, and a member of the team will get in touch.

  • Where is the conference being held?

RENAISSANCE is being hosted at SAINT Hackney, in Hackney Central, East London. The main venue for the conference is St John at Hackney Church, Lower Clapton Road, E5 0PD. Other conference venues include St Luke’s Homerton, Homerton Terrace, E9 6RT and Hackney Church House, Prodigal Square, E8 1FX. All venues are within five minutes walking distance of each other, and on arrival all ticket holders will be given a map to enable you to navigate between the venues easily.

  • What time will doors open, and close?

Doors will open for main sessions on both days of the conference at 9.30am, for a 10am start. Evening main sessions will end at 9.30pm, though an after-hours programme will be offered.

  • How do I get to RENAISSANCE?

RENAISSANCE is taking place at SAINT’s central Hackney location, a two minute walk from Hackney Central Overground Station, which is a short ride from Highbury & Islington, a London Underground station on the Victoria Line with fast connections to central London. We are also served by many bus routes, including the 38, 56 and 254 with connections throughout East and Central London.

  • In the event of cancellation, will I get a refund?

In the event of cancellation, all ticket holders will be reimbursed the full value of their tickets through DICE, in accordance with their cancellation policy.

  • What if I can't come for the whole thing?

Ticket holders are welcome to come and go from conference sessions as they please, and re-entry is permitted at any time, so don’t worry at all if you can’t come for the whole thing – you are still so welcome. Day tickets are, however, not available, and ticket holders will get the best experience by coming to as much of the conference as possible.

  • Will I be able to park?

Very limited paid public parking will be available at the front of St John at Hackney Church on a first come first served basis. It is strongly advised that you travel to the conference by public transport.

  • Is there a cloakroom?

We are unfortunately unable to provide a cloakroom at the conference. Attendees are required to keep their belongings with them at all times.

  • Will the sessions be recorded?

Main sessions will be recorded. Audio from LABS will also be recorded. Photographs and video will be taken throughout the conference. Please let a member of our team know if you wish not to be photographed or filmed.
