Hackney Church Brew Co, 17 Bohemia Pl, London E8 1DU. Our very own brewery is a must visit while you are RENAISSANCE, a short walk from SAINT Hackney under the railway arches of Bohemia Place. A great selection of beers brewed on site, and amazing food, all in our stunning taproom.

Located in St John at Hackney Churchyard, just a few yards from the church, Bad Manners is a SAINT staff favourite – great coffee, incredible pastries and mind-blowing Mexican Food from local chef Rodrigo Cervantes.

WAVE, 11 Dispensary Ln, London E8 1FT. WAVE is on Prodigal Square, right next to Hackney Church House. Everything is Vegan, and the do incredible lunches, coffee, pastries and snacks all day, with great seating and lovely staff. They are offering a 15% off discount for anyone with a Renaissance Conference wristband!

Pophams Bakery, 197 Richmond Rd, London E8 3NJ. A ten minute walk from SAINT Hackney, Pophams is a Hackney Institution – some of the best pastries in town, stylish lunches, amazing coffee and beautiful seating inside.

Hackney Tap, 354 Mare St, London ,E8 1HR. Hackney Tap opened in 2020, and occupies the Old Town Hall building on the edge of St John at Hackney Church Gardens. They serve an incredible array of beers, great gyoza and much more. A great spot for a drink in the sunshine.

A Slice of Blue, 43 Lower Clapton Rd, Lower Clapton, London E5 0NS. This is some of the best pizza in East London, a two minute walk from St John at Hackney Church, as well as great beers, wines and cocktails.

Lucky And Joy, 95 Lower Clapton Rd, Lower Clapton, London E5 0NP. Lucky and Joy is a three minute walk from SAINT Hackney – award winning original and delicious Chinese food from two top London chefs – this is a great spot for lunch or an evening meal.

Tonkotsu is a much loved local favourite, serving high end ramen and noodles all day at affordable prices. They have a great lunch offer on too.
